Willie Carter is a potter whose studio is in Farndon at Top House Pottery, just behind Little Churton's restaurant.
Willie was born in Wick in the far north of Scotland and, following a three-year ceramics course at Chesterfield Art College,
has pursued a successful career as a potter for over 25 years.
If you visit his studio in Farndon, you can see his range of hand-thrown and earthenware pots, together with his range of
wonderful animal sculptures and paintings.

There are not many potteries in Cheshire and certainly not many producing such original and
wonderful pieces of art.
Willie also runs pottery classes at his Farndon studio.
