SHOCKLACH BIODIVERSITY SURVEY

This was started in March, 2009. 

Up to August, 2011, the following were recorded:

Flora:  138 species

Fauna (birds):  67 species

Fauna (mammals):  11 species

Fauna (insects):  230 species as follows:

20 species of butterfly;

182 species of moth;

10 species of dragonfly/damselfly

18 others (including beetles and ladybirds)
