Shocklach Oviatt and District Parish Council covers the parishes of Shocklach Oviatt, Shocklach Church, Caldecott and Horton. Meetings take place in Shocklach Primary School on the second Thursday of January, March, May, July, September and November at 7.30 p.m.. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings. In addition, a parish meeting is held in May each year. This is more informal and usually, guest speakers are invited to talk about issues of local interest. Refreshments are served at the end of the meeting. The parish meeting is advertised on notice boards and also by means of leaflets which are usually delivered by hand to each household in the four parishes. The agenda and minutes for all meetings are placed on notice boards and some meetings are attended by Neil Ritchie, our Chester District Councillor.

Any resident is welcome to attend any meeting.
